The Vanuatu Meteorology & Geohazards Department needed a modern, resilient digital platform to issue real-time weather warnings and disaster advisories. Through the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) built a new website and mobile app with seamless integration of complex weather systems, real-time data processing, and offline mode functionality for accessibility in remote areas. Through on-site workshops and close collaboration, we ensured a user-friendly, geo-located alert system, reaching over 40,000 users in its first months—proving critical during multiple tropical lows and earthquakes within weeks of launch.
